The Z-Stepper Transmission is a complete Z axis transmission assembly including stepper motor, belt, and mounting bracket.

The Z-Stepper Transmission is generally used with short stroke Z axis of less than 8 inches or 200 mm. For longer strokes use Z transmission that includes a brake, part number 26885.

Note: These motors are extremely reliable and motor failure is very rare. Before replacing this motor check the following more likely problems:

* Loose and slipping pulley on the motor shaft
* Burnt wires on either motor connectors or on the step drive connectors in the control box
* Blown stepper drive fuses
* Stepper drive failure
